Other than your car, you don’t need much gear. I do recommend the following:

GEAR

You definitely need a phone cradle to keep your eyes up and on the road. There’s nothing worse than a driver trying to navigate while looking down and holding a phone – which is illegal in Georgia by the way. There are tons available. I don’t like the version that clips to the air vent. When it’s cold outside and you need to keep your car warm, your phone can overheat. Also, it keeps your eyes down. I bought (and like) this one:

I bought this car vacuum. I love it. Plug it in and keep your ride tidy.

My bluetooth is out in my car so I needed a way to play music and keep my phone charged at the same time. This adapter works perfectly with my iphone and aux cord.

As a rider, I’ve seen drivers with seat covers. I’m not there yet but I am thinking about it.

I mentioned the camera in the safety section. Here is a good breakdown of some solid options.

APPS

Other than the rideshare apps themselves, I use Apple music to enhance the riders’ experience (see earning tips) and gridwise to keep track of my miles for taxes. I like to keep it simple.
